Oroville Scholarship Foundation?
Oroville Scholarship Foundation is locally
operated and supported, non-profit 501(c)3, tax-exempt scholarship foundation.
Operated by an all volunteer Board of Directors, the purpose of Oroville
Scholarship Foundation is to expand student access to educational opportunities beyond
high school through the support, assistance and involvement of our

Why is OSF so
Rising costs are closing doors to
higher education for many individuals. Through OSF, we have the
opportunity to make a strong, collective statement about the importance
of education after high school. We can provide both encouragement and
financial support for our local students.
How are funds
for local awards provided?
Funds come from the generous support of individuals, business, and
service organizations as well as a variety of fundraising events. For
those who wish to establish endowed scholarships, Oroville Scholarship
Foundation may be named as a beneficiary in wills, insurance policies or
receive gifts of property.
Who may apply?
Graduating Oroville High School
seniors and former OHS graduates who have completed at least 1 year of
college. Scholarships may be for two year institutions, four year
institutions, vocational and technical colleges.
How are local
Applications are scored and awarded by a committee of impartial OSF
volunteers. Applicants receive points for academic record, school
activities, community service and work experience. In this way, the
selection process is objective and nondiscriminatory.
